Viviamo la nostra vita a contatto con abiti e accessori dei quali non consideriamo il valore, perché frutto di un sistema che predilige la quantità, l’omologazione e il consumo del fast fashion, oppure l’inarrivabilità e l’esclusività dell’haute couture. L’oro diventa quindi simbolo della preziosità di tutte le mani che sanno creare».

“I chose not to interpret the prompt literally, illustrating not the finished garment, but the process through which fabric takes shape thanks to the exquisite work of skilled, invisible hands. We go through life wrapped in clothes and accessories whose true worth we rarely consider, caught up in a system that favors quantity, homogenization, and the hyper-consumption of fast fashion, or the unreachable exclusivity of haute couture. Gold thus becomes a symbol of the preciousness of all the hands that know how to create.”
