«La frase che è stata generata mi ha subito trasportata in un mondo quasi fiabesco. Mi sono immaginata una belva intrappolata da questa foresta fredda e artificiale: un bosco asettico che entra in contrasto con la natura, facendole cambiare l’aspetto e l’intensità, e un lupo ferito, pronto ad attaccare per difendersi. Nel raffigurare la scena, mi sono ispirata alle illustrazioni medievali dei capilettera, giocando sul tema del lettering. La forma dell’animale stesso è poi una lettera, la S, una protagonista silenziosa ma combattiva, che lotta per la sopravvivenza».
L'Artista
Susanna Galfrè è un’illustratrice freelance della provincia di Novara, classe ’97. Con le sue illustrazioni finisce per perdersi in atmosfere immersive segnate da colori vibranti, forme morbide e dinamiche, ed elementi naturali. Lavora principalmente in ambito editoriale, collaborando spesso con enti pubblici o associazioni come Legambiente, le cui tematiche le stanno molto a cuore.
About the Project
“The prompt generated immediately transported me into a near-fairytale world. I envisioned a wild beast trapped by a cold, artificial forest: a sterile woodland standing in stark contrast to nature, altering its appearance and intensity, and a wounded wolf ready to strike in self-defense. In depicting the scene, I drew inspiration from medieval illuminated initials, playing with the theme of lettering. The shape of the animal itself forms a letter—an S—serving as a silent yet fierce protagonist fighting for survival.”

Susanna Galfrè (b. 1997) is a freelance illustrator from the province of Novara. Through her artwork, she gets lost in immersive atmospheres marked by vibrant colors, soft, dynamic shapes, and natural elements. She works primarily in editorial illustration, frequently collaborating with public institutions and organizations like Legambiente, focusing on environmental themes close to her heart.
