«Lavorare su un prompt così specifico mi ha portato a concentrarmi sulla parte visiva e compositiva dell’immagine e a cercare una sintesi tra i vari elementi che la compongono. Le forme del vestito riprendono i volumi squadrati delle auto sportive anni ‘80 unite al mondo dello streetwear contemporaneo, rimanendo su linee semplici ed essenziali e cercando di mantenere un equilibrio all’interno dell’illustrazione».

Andrea Chronopoulos è un illustratore nato ad Atene nel 1990. Si è diplomato in illustrazione e animazione 2D all’Istituto Europeo di Design a Roma. Sempre a Roma lavora per progetti editoriali e commerciali, collaborando con clienti internazionali come Apple, The New York Times, Bloomberg, GQ, Esquire, Pentagram, Fred Perry, Interni, Domus, The Wall Street Journal. Il suo lavoro è stato selezionato dalla Society of Illustrators di New York, American Illustration, International Motion Arts Awards e 3X3 magazine.
About the Project
“Working with such a specific prompt forced me to focus on the visual and compositional aspect of the image, seeking a synthesis among its different elements. The shapes of the outfit mirror the boxy volumes of 1980s sports cars combined with contemporary streetwear, keeping lines clean and essential while striving for balance throughout the illustration.”

Andrea Chronopoulos is an illustrator born in Athens in 1990. He graduated in illustration and 2D animation from the Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome. Based in Rome, he works on editorial and commercial projects for international clients, including Apple, The New York Times, Bloomberg, GQ, Esquire, Pentagram, Fred Perry, Interni, Domus, and The Wall Street Journal. His work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators of New York, American Illustration, International Motion Arts Awards, and 3x3 magazine.
