«Dopo aver letto il prompt, ho pensato a come avrei realizzato il batterio-chef, seguito dagli altri elementi. Volevo che l’illustrazione avesse un taglio editoriale, simile a quelle che accompagnano articoli in cui scienza e cultura pop si intrecciano. Ho giocato sullo stereotipo della pizza, unendo riferimenti scientifici e ironia, con dettagli come il cell-ami (salame creato in laboratorio), il blueprint della scatola e le analisi dei dati. Dall’AI mi aspettavo forse un output meno descrittivo, ma è stato uno spunto stimolante.»

Alice Palamenghi, classe 1992, bresciana di nascita e residente in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Diplomata presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia, si occupa di grafica e illustrazione editoriale. About the Project
“After reading the prompt, I thought about how I would depict the bacterium chef, followed by the other elements. I wanted the illustration to have an editorial feel, similar to those that accompany articles where science and pop culture intersect. I played on the stereotype of pizza, blending scientific references with irony through details like cell-ami (lab-grown salami), the box’s blueprint, and data analysis. I perhaps expected a less descriptive output from the AI, but it proved to be a stimulating springboard.”

Alice Palamenghi (b. 1992) was born in Brescia and is based in Friuli Venezia Giulia. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, she works in graphic design and editorial illustration. She constructs her stories by populating her compositions with signs and symbols, playing with hidden meanings and rhetorical devices. Her style is essential and conceptual, influenced by art, design, and visual storytelling.
