«Un solo pensiero fisso durante la generazione dei prompt: Non può assolutamente non darmi un drago! Beh, non lo ha fatto, ma tra prompt assemblati un po’ a caso e robe noiosissime, penso che non mi possa lamentare affatto del mio! Ho cercato delle reference di scenari e personaggi sci-fi futuristici. Ho pensato alla tigre più come a un’esploratrice scientifica che altro, vista l’ambientazione, quindi le “parti meccaniche avanzate” hanno un design che si ispira a strumenti appartenenti a quell’ambito (come bracci robotici ecc.). La tigre sta cercando qualcosa tra i pochi neon ancora accesi di questo laboratorio buio, forse lo ha trovato?».

Alex Cottin è un illustratore e designer classe ‘98, che vive, studia e lavora nella provincia di Lecce. Fin da piccolo appassionato di creatività, si è laureato in graphic design. Da qualche anno a questa parte ha iniziato a fare illustrazione avendo modo e piacere di collaborare con studi e team creativi quali Accenture Song e Caffè Design e aziende come Fila, Accenture, Servati e altri.
About the Project
“Only one single thought kept running through my mind while generating the prompts: There is no way it won’t give me a dragon! Well, it didn’t, but between slightly random combinations and utterly boring options, I really can’t complain about what I got! I looked for references of futuristic sci-fi environments and characters. Given the setting, I envisioned the tiger more as a scientific explorer than anything else, so the ‘advanced mechanical parts’ feature a design inspired by equipment from that field (such as robotic arms, etc.). The tiger is searching for something among the few neon lights still flickering in this dark laboratory—has she found it?”
The Artist
Alex Cottin (b. 1998) is an illustrator and designer based in the province of Lecce, where he lives and works. Passionate about creativity from an early age, he holds a degree in graphic design. Over the past few years, he has turned his focus to illustration, collaborating with creative studios and teams such as Accenture Song and Caffè Design, as well as brands including Fila, Accenture, Servati, among others.
